The moment you enter The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, you will be wowed by the glamorous design. The entry hall with dramatic faceted mirrored panels and opulent crystal chandeliers looks straight out of a magazine.

Things to Know

Every night at 6 in the bar, you can witness the St. Regis tradition of a champagne bottle being opened with a saber — and you’ll get to drink the bubbly after it’s been opened.
Experience world-class restaurants (like Mediterranean-influenced Aba and Edomae-style sushi spot Makoto) and haute couture shopping (like Burberry and Salvatore Ferragamo) at the lush, open-air Bal Harbour Shops, just across the street.
Choose from the beach or the pools — the Resort Pool caters to families, while the Tranquility Pool draws adults who seek some relaxation.
The kid-friendly hotel offers the Family Traditions program, which provides little ones with their own amenities and outdoor play areas.

The Rooms

Rooms at the 24-story hotel are elegant and contemporary in look, fashioned in a neutral color palette with art deco detailing.
Upon entering a standard Ocean View room, you’ll be greeted by a pale purple foyer decorated with koi fish wallpaper. A long hallway then leads into the bedroom, which is decorated in a sophisticated color palette of cream, white and gold with pale blue accents.
The bed faces a flat-screen Samsung television with Blu-Ray player; there’s also an Inncom touch-screen control console on one of the two nightstands that acts as a control center for the room.
The marble-clad bath has a separate water closet, spacious vanity, soaking tub and walk-in shower.

The Restaurants

Seeped in bright blue and stark white, Atlantikós specializes in healthy Mediterranean dishes for breakfast and lunch. It also offers a bloody mary brunch with a sushi station, cheese and charcuterie, a carving station and customizable bloody mary flights with versions of the cocktail — said to be invented at The St. Regis New York — from its sister properties.
Black marble floors, antique mirrored walls and gold touches make The St. Regis Bar just the place to sip champagnes, rare vintage wines and cocktails. Nosh on Asian-inspired cuisine and hear live music Thursday through Saturday.
Burgers go gourmet at BH Burger Bar (we enjoyed the Frenchie, piled with bacon, Comté cheese, truffle aioli and caramelized onion on a brioche bun). But you can also order nachos, wings and sides (like yucca fries and Vidalia onion rings) along with local craft brews.
Sun pours into La Gourmandise, the window-lined lobby lounge overlooking the ocean. Come here for American fare for breakfast and lunch, as well as afternoon tea.
