Al Habtoor Palace Budapest
Emirati hospitality meets Old World heritage
VERIFIED LUXURY
Here are five things to know about us:
1. We verify luxury. Our highly trained inspectors visit every property we rate, evaluating based on up to 900 objective criteria. Our hotel stays span a minimum of two nights.
2. We pay our own way. No one can buy a rating; all ratings are earned through our objective inspection process.
3. Our global team of inspectors are anonymous at all times, so they have the same experience as a typical guest.
4. While we inspect both service and facility, our Star Rating system emphasizes service because your experience at a hotel, restaurant or spa goes beyond looks — how it makes you feel is what you will remember most.
5. We started in1958 as Mobil Travel Guide, and we created the original Five-Star rating system for hospitality.
Five-Star
These properties deliver an outstanding experience and consistently offer a highly customized level of service.
Four-Star

Al Habtoor Palace Budapest blends the ultra-luxury hospitality characteristic of hotels in the United Arab Emirates with Old World European grandeur. In the heart of downtown, Al Habtoor Palace resides in the ornate Adria Palace, built between 1914 and 1918 as the former headquarters of the Italian Adria Insurance Company, and occupies a property that formerly belonged to the Ritz-Carlton. It retains original details, such as its stained-glass cupolas and intricate wrought ironwork shaped into sunflowers. The hotel also integrates modern design into its heritage building, with newly renovated suites and the Velvet Bar and Café. There are sweeping views over St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Hungarian Parliament Building from the upper floors, while the surrounding streets encompass the pulsing spirit of downtown Budapest. The Danube River is also just a short stroll away.
Despite the name, there’s little that nods to the brand’s Emirati heritage in terms of aesthetics, but rather it’s expressed through a level of service that evokes the quality of hospitality you’d expect in Dubai, such as an attentive butler offered for premium category suites.
