Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab

New Dubai luxury icon inspired by superyachts
VERIFIED LUXURY
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab elegantly blends Dubai’s larger-than-life scale with its reputation for off-the-charts luxury. The newest addition to the Jumeirah Beach coastline, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, is the final chapter in a trilogy of hotels that includes Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel and is adjacent to the Marsa Al Arab Marina.

Every design detail — from The Arch blanketing the grand porte cochere to the undulating curves of the guest room hallways to the panoramic ocean views visible from the suites — is intentional. In keeping with the nautical architectural theme of the sail-like Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and wave-like Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab resembles a superyacht. Step inside and the story of the hotel unfolds like an epic voyage from sand to sea, guided by the design of Dubai-based architect Shaun Killa, the mind behind the city’s iconic Museum of the Future.

A beach-and-city stay in one, the 300 rooms and 86 suites, featuring stunning terraces, whisk guests through indoor-to-outdoor spaces, with elements that evoke a soft ocean breeze and accents that imbue the golden warmth of the Arabian sun.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is like your own personal city to explore — curated with every touch and amenity. With four swimming pools (three outdoor and one indoor), two private beaches with access to more than a mile of shoreline, 11 restaurants and a three-level spa, the quiet luxury within this compound rivals the electricity and frenetic pace of Dubai.
  • Before arriving at check-in at the Dubai hotel, take note of the monumental arrival moment, meant to capture movement and light. The Blue Voyage, two large-scale ceramic walls in the lobby, designed by Studio RAP in Rotterdam, features more than 900 3D-printed components meant to recall ocean waves. Above, the Breeze art installation by CRSTL Studio uses 1,646 handcrafted crystal tubes and took more than 7,700 hours of craftsmanship.
  • The art of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab exists beyond its walls. The sinuous, horizontal and decidedly feminine form of the building artfully juxtaposes Dubai’s towering, vertical and definitively masculine skyline. Surrounding it is a landscape design with more than 3,100 palms, 1,300 trees and 260,000 shrubs that creates a true oasis.
  • Unwind in Talise Spa, a three-story facility that includes a 66-foot indoor pool, 13 treatment suites with their own terraces and a floor dedicated to women. Services incorporate innovative tools, like far-infrared technology, lymphatic compression boots and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
  • At the Lobby Lounge, where the culinary program is driven by pastry master Pierre Hermé, the exquisite details extend beyond the food. Bespoke Bernardaud plates, created by Lebanese artist and jewelry designer Nadine Kanso, feature the expressive Arabic word Maraheb — a fusion of marhaba (“welcome”) and hubb (“love”) — rendered in her signature calligraphic style, transforming the tableware into works of art.

The Rooms

  • With decor inspired by an Italian Riva boat, every room offers views of the gulf or Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies. You can drink in the vista while lounging in bed.
  • A standout among the varied room types is the Ocean Terrace Suite, with a wraparound, ocean-facing balcony featuring access from both the bedroom and the living area. The latter has a plush sofa, wave-inspired rugs and subtle Arabic mosaic detailing that echoes the movement of the sea. A sliding door separates the bedroom, where the bed faces the ocean for a stunning wake-up. The marble-clad bathroom is equally striking, featuring double vanities and a sculptural oval soaking tub with more water views.
  • Touch-control panels manage lighting and ambiance throughout, while Bang & Olufsen speakers with rattan accents highlight the maritime aesthetic.
  • Shower, bath and beauty amenities at the luxury hotel are by Votary and Rossano Ferretti. Inside the wardrobe, guests will find a selection of robes, a branded tote bag and a martini menu curated for turndown service.
  • Depending on the room type, guests have access to Bentley service, yacht transfers from the airport, a personal butler trained at the British Butler Academy and in-suite check-in. For VIP and suite guests, the daily and nightly amenities are outstanding, from monogrammed pillowcases and slippers to caviar presentations. Expect the unexpected.

The Restaurants and Bars

  • The Fore is four dining concepts in one. By morning, it serves a phenomenal breakfast spread that spills into four different restaurants, each with a different style of cuisine. By evening, guests can choose from Japanese flavors at Umi Kei, Asian fusion at Madame Li, Mediterranean classics at Mirabelle and bold Indian dishes at The Bombay Club.
  • Oceanfront Greek jewel Iliana is not only the best location for a sunset photo op of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, but its onsite fish market and rooftop terrace invite those who like a party atmosphere with their dinner to settle in, order generously and let the evening unfold.
  • A tribute to Italy’s golden age, Rialto pairs northern Italian cuisine with cinematic glamour. The adjoining Rialto Bar — home to Dubai’s most extensive gin collection — evokes 1950s Italy, making it the destination for aperitivo rituals, sunset spritzes and late-night Negronis.
