Maison Albar - Le Victoria

A sleek seaside stay on the Côte d’Azur
VERIFIED LUXURY
Perfectly nestled between the Promenade des Anglais and Place Masséna, Maison Albar—Le Victoria is a secret retreat devoted to refined hedonism. Inspired by the timeless elegance of the Riviera’s most exquisite private residences, every detail celebrates the spirit of the French Riviera: effortlessly chic and naturally luminous.

Its 102 rooms and 30 suites offer breathtaking views, from the shimmering Mediterranean Sea to the peaceful hills beyond Nice. On the rooftop, Taulissa, the restaurant by Glenn Viel and Fred Grava, invites guests on a journey of bold culinary discovery, complemented by a panoramic bar and an infinity pool.

Beneath it all lies a sanctuary of serenity: Oria, a 7,000 square foot spa where water, light and natural materials converge to create a deeply restorative experience. Maison Albar – Le Victoria is also a curated shopping destination, hosting 15 ultra-luxury boutiques on its ground floor — a refined promenade where fashion, elegance and exclusivity meet.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • All of the rooms and suites are designed with sophisticated, timeless touches like statement-making bedside crystal light fixtures and marble-clad bathrooms.
  • Noted chefs Fred Grava and Glenn Viel are behind the Provençal menu at rooftop restaurant Taulissa, where dishes like barbecue-grilled artichoke with coriander pesto and langoustine with citrus and black garlic mayonnaise embrace local, seasonal ingredients.
  • Despite being on the boutique side, the hotel’s centerpiece Oria Spa spans nearly 7,000 square feet, making it feel like an urban sanctuary. In addition to a marble indoor pool, mosaic-lined Jacuzzi, hammam and sauna, six treatment rooms offer a range of facial and body services — the signature involving a decadent, 24K-gold face mask.
  • The Nice hotel’s 30 suites feature lounge areas and soaking tubs, with the top-floor Suite Victoria and Suite Céline opening to expansive sea view terraces that measure nearly the same size as the rooms.
  • Suites are outfitted with sofa beds and can sleep up to three people. Connecting rooms are also available on request if you’re traveling as a family or group.
