ME Marbella isn’t your typical Costa del Sol
retreat — it’s a bold reinvention of Mediterranean cool. Recently unveiled
following an ambitious $23 million renovation in 2025, the hotel emerges as the
Andalusian debut of ME by Meliá, reimagined over just eight months with an
artful touch by ASAH Studio. The design riffs on local materials — lime, stone,
ochre, sea-blue plaster — tuned into organic forms that feel both modern and
rooted.
Staying here is like bunkering into a living
gallery: 200 rooms (24 of them suites, including penthouses with private pools)
open onto views of sea, mountains or courtyard gardens, each crafted as a
quiet, sensory sanctuary. At its core pulses Oasis, an indoor beach club, and a
trio of buzzworthy restaurants that pivot around flame, sea-fresh ingredients
and cocktails that feel local yet finessed.
