- Las Mañanitas’ onsite restaurant has been a mainstay of the luxury hotel since its inception in 1955. Stop in for expertly prepared Mexican and international cuisine, including red snapper and tortilla soup (a staple since the hotel opened in 1955) complemented by garden views.
- The hotel’s artfully curated grounds were inspired by Japanese gardens that founder Robert Krause encountered on his travels. Krause spent years cultivating his own lush courtyard with the help of local landscape architects. You will want to linger in this beautiful green space.
- During his time as hotelier, Krause became friends with several notable Mexican and Latin American artists of the muralism movement, inspiring him to decorate his Cuernavaca hotel with their works. Look for pieces from Horacio Rentería, Alfredo Salce and José Luis Cuevas, among many others.
