Hôtel du Louvre, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

A grand Parisian hotel near the Louvre
VERIFIED LUXURY

For travelers to Paris, often the goal is to book a hotel in an ideal location for easy access to main attractions, and Hôtel du Louvre is one such place. If Mona Lisa could have seen where Hôtel du Louvre sits, she may have grinned from ear-to-ear — it’s right next to the Louvre in the buzzy city center, and a stone's throw away from the Opéra Garnier.

Built in 1855, the luxury hotel is in line with Georges-Eugène Haussmann’s architectural design plan ordered by Napoleon III, with cream-colored stone walls, ornamental iron window guards and wonderfully detailed interior design. You’ll find a reception hall with a high ceiling that the emperor would have approved of and marble flooring that echoes that of the Opéra Garnier.

The hotel, as part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, plays with different eras and this duality of styles is unique. Modern decorative touches intersperse the premises with audacity: smooth lines, illustrations by Emmanuel Pierre and counters in black marble and steel—all of which are enhanced by a distinctive brightness.
