- The luxurious resort’s Five-Star restaurant, Apex, serves delicious meals three times a day, but dinner is the real winner — order the Long Island duck duo with creamed heirloom spinach or roasted winter squash, grilled Kaui white shrimp and bearnaise sauce or local wagyu hander steak with yukon gold whipped potato puree for a farm-to-table taste sensation.
Should you need some pampering after a day on the slopes, ski right in to Spa Montage Deer Valley, which offers custom treatments to suit your individual needs using botanical and herbal ingredients for a holistic experience.
- The luxury Park City hotel has both an indoor and an outdoor pool. Thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, both pools offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains for a scenic and relaxing experience.
- The family-friendly ski resort offers a host of amenities to keep kids and teens busy, like the Paintbox club. But our favorite for the little ones (and selfishly, ourselves) is the complimentary s’mores on the Vista Terrace from 4 to 5 p.m. daily. These go beyond the ordinary campfire treats with housemade marshmallows in delectable flavors like strawberry, mint and caramel and gluten-free graham crackers.
Things to Know
- Daly’s Pub and Rec is the ideal location for a family meal, offering four regulation bowling lanes, billiards, darts, old-school arcade games and a Playstation to make it easy to entertain kids while waiting for food to arrive.
- The Deer Valley hotel offers a house car service that can take you from the property to Park City’s Historic Main Street for shopping and sightseeing. Additionally, the property proudly partners with Cadillac to offer a Ride & Drive experience, where guests can explore Park City in one of the esteemed brand’s award-winning vehicles.
Deer Valley Resort's 100 trails are only for skiers. Snowboarders will have to go to Park City Mountain.

- Daly’s Pub and Rec is a gastropub and rec center all in one serving gourmet grill food, like Evolution Ale-battered fish and chips and brick-oven pizza, cooked in an open kitchen.
- The luxury Deer Valley hotel’s casual Vista Lounge & Terrace boasts unobstructed views of the Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges. Sit at the bar and order bistro fare like cheese fondue or fresh-shucked oysters, or try one of the hotel’s handcrafted cocktails, such as When the Smoke Clears or Fig-Et-About-It.
- For a quick pick-me-up, the in-house espresso bar, Buzz, offers specialty brewed coffee, hot chocolate and tea in addition to the standard lattes, cappuccinos and espressos. Buzz also sells baked goods, custom chocolate bonbons and artisanal sandwiches, perfect for eating on the go while exploring the Empire Canyon mountainside.
