Forbes Travel Guide Launches Second Wave of Ocean Cruise Ratings
ATLANTA – June 26, 2023 – As cruises experience a boom in bookings on par with pre-pandemic levels, Forbes Travel Guide (“FTG”)—the only independent, exacting global rating system for luxury hotels, ocean cruises, restaurants and spas—today revealed the second installment of its 2023 Star Awards for ocean cruises. FTG, which has rated hotels since 1958, launched its inaugural cruise ratings in February 2023 with five ships: Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Flora and Celebrity Millennium earned Four-Star honors, while Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Summit achieved Recommended awards. Today, FTG adds more luxury ships to its Star Rating list: Seabourn Ovation and Silversea Cruises’ Silver Shadow both garnered Four-Star accolades while Oceania Cruises’ Insignia earned Recommended. More ships will be announced in FTG’s annual Star Awards in February 2024.
