Corinthian

Orient Express' sailing debut
VERIFIED LUXURY
After 140 years of setting the standard for luxury hospitality in rail travel, the Orient Express sets off for the high seas with the Orient Express Corinthian. The innovatively designed vessel making its maiden voyage in May 2026 is equipped with three sails and measures 721 feet. With a capacity of only 110 guests, this ship earns the title of the world’s largest sailing yacht.

Corinthian’s finely detailed interiors accomplish the impressive task of living up to such an eye-catching exterior. The Orient Express’ immensely talented art director, Maxime d’Angeac, has designed cinematic spaces infused with the romance of the legendary rail cars. All 54 suites feel intentionally curated with bespoke marble and warm wood finishes, awash in natural light flooding in from the panoramic picture windows and outfitted in sumptuous fabrics.

The onboard amenities share the same rarified, distinctly French influence. Renowned chef Yannick Alléno lent his expertise in creating the five onboard dining outlets, while a partnership with beauty and wellness brand Guerlain brings the first Le Spa by Guerlain to sea. Eight atmospheric bars and elevated entertainment offerings create an onboard experience that deepens the Orient Express’ legendary reputation.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Maxime d'Angeac developed a glamorous design that captures the romance of the golden age of rail travel. Exquisite details (see: vintage-inspired light fixtures and an extensive use of wood, leather and marble) and a subtle art deco motif create spaces that are both opulent and inviting.
  • Le Spa by Guerlain is a 5,000-square-foot oasis featuring sea-, sun- and salt-inspired treatments like the soothing Wave Serenity Ritual and the energizing Aqua Odyssey service.
  • Alongside the spa, a variety of beauty and wellness facilities await onboard, including a full-service salon, barber and stunning fitness area featuring a yoga studio with views of the waves.
  • The onboard entertainment venues are inspired, featuring a 115-seat cabaret theater reminiscent of Paris’ Moulin Rouge, a library with 1,500 rare books that also serves as a cafe and a cinema equipped with 20 plush armchairs.
  • The ship comes with 54 suites, ranging in size from 485 to 2,476 square feet, providing passengers with premium-level comfort in elegantly appointed spaces. Each accommodation features oversized, panoramic picture windows, soaring ceilings and marble finishes. Terraces are also included in the premium suites, such as the two-bedroom Agatha Christie suite.

The Restaurants

  • Orient Express tapped chef Alléno to oversee Corinthian's five dining outlets, and each boasts a distinctive culinary style.
  • La Table de l'Orient-Express by Yannick Alléno showcases an exclusive menu inspired by the unique culinary landscapes of each journey. Dining here comes with an additional fee, but foodies will not want to miss the opportunity to experience Alléno’s abilities so intimately.
  • Ascend the grand double staircase to discover the ship’s elevated fine dining venue, La Terrasse. The decor fuses art deco elements with contemporary accents, creating a stunning backdrop for the impeccably presented international dishes.
  • In addition to a dining room, L'Encre provides a stylish seafood counter with green marble flooring, accented by gold highlights and curved lamps.
  • One of the highlights of the onboard bar scene is the ship’s clandestine, Roaring ’20s-inspired Le Speakeasy, which offers exceptionally crafted cocktails in a sultry setting.
