Insignia
Oceania's contemporary elegance on the high seas
VERIFIED LUXURY
Here are five things to know about us:
1. We verify luxury. Our highly trained inspectors visit every property we rate, evaluating based on up to 900 objective criteria. Our hotel stays span a minimum of two nights.
2. We pay our own way. No one can buy a rating; all ratings are earned through our objective inspection process.
3. Our global team of inspectors are anonymous at all times, so they have the same experience as a typical guest.
4. While we inspect both service and facility, our Star Rating system emphasizes service because your experience at a hotel, restaurant or spa goes beyond looks — how it makes you feel is what you will remember most.
5. We started in1958 as Mobil Travel Guide, and we created the original Five-Star rating system for hospitality.
Five-Star
These properties deliver an outstanding experience and consistently offer a highly customized level of service.
Four-Star
These are exceptional properties, offering high levels of service and quality of facility to match.
Recommended

Soon To Be Rated

Experience a luxurious cruise with personal service and plenty to do onboard Oceania Insignia. Most of the adult-focused voyages host a special guest speaker — historians, naturalists or former ambassadors — to share insights and stories about the ship’s destinations. Other forms of entertainment include a Monte Carlo-style casino, live music, a sophisticated steakhouse, coffee and cocktail bars, a singing contest à la American Idol and a sports deck complete with an outdoor track.
The ship, refurbished in 2018, carries 684 passengers and puts a modern-day spin on old-school cruising. Insignia sails out of numerous ports, for example, the seven-day New York-to-New York trip, which visits Bermuda. There's a 20-day cruise from New York City to San Francisco, hitting the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean and plenty of stops in between. For more international travel, book the 15-day Hong Kong-to-Singapore itinerary, which also stops in Vietnam and Thailand.
Between the rich programming and even richer food — Oceania prides itself on its culinary offerings, enlisting the likes of master chef Jacques Pépin to oversee its food — a trip on Insignia will be memorable.
