Celebrity Xcel takes Celebrity Cruises’ innovative Edge Series ships to new heights. With a November 2025 debut as the fifth ship in the series, the Xcel offers all the brand’s hallmarks at a larger scale with new suite types and enhanced amenities.

With a capacity of 3,260 passengers, the ship pulls out all the stops with a two-level Sunset Bar, fine dining by chef Daniel Boulud and updated staterooms with king-sized beds.

Among the standout accommodations are two new premium suite categories — six two-story Edge Villas and two sprawling Penthouse Suites — that easily rank among the most opulent at sea.

Making their debut on the Celebrity Xcel, the Edge Villas, with 950 square feet of interior and exterior space, offer the luxury of an oceanfront home at sea. With a private terrace and plunge pool, each duplex feels both indulgent and distinctly residential.
Supporting Celebrity’s mission to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, the Xcel integrates energy-efficient lighting and a tri-fuel engine capable of using methanol to reduce emissions.
Retreat-level suite guests will enjoy the attention of a dedicated butler, offering personalized services from luggage handling to check-in and dining reservations.
AquaClass staterooms lean into wellness with curated amenities such as yoga mats, fluffy bathrobes and pillow menus. Guests also have unlimited access to a spa concierge and the ship’s unique SEA Thermal Suites, featuring eight hydrotherapy experiences like an aromatic steam room, infrared sauna and therapeutic rainfall water room.
Renowned interior designer Kelly Hoppen designed the accommodations, including the new Penthouse Suites. Each suite — the units range from 1,291 to 1,432 square feet of interior space — includes two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a lush terrace complete with a hot tub, lounge seating and sweeping 270-degree views.

The Xcel doubles the number of Edge Single Staterooms with Infinite Verandas, making solo travel more accessible and enjoyable. For the uninitiated,Celebrity Cruises’ signature verandas enable you to expand your living space and soak up sea views with the touch of a button.
Of the 1,640 staterooms, more than 80% feature balconies.
Nearly all of the accommodations include king-sized beds with exclusive Celebrity bedding and mattresses. And for added convenience, new in-room control panels enable you to adjust the lighting, shades and air conditioning with ease.
Retreat Suite guests enjoy exclusive access to several spaces and experiences, including Luminae —a private dining room with signature dishes by chef Daniel Boulud — as well as a relaxing lounge, sundeck and bar.
