The intimate six-seat Omakase Bar is a coveted spot for savoring the best of Positivo Sand Bar’s seafood-focused offerings. Pull up a stool to enjoy the talents of chef Taira Tsuneyoshi as he crafts meticulous rolls using fresh ingredients sourced from Japan, New Zealand and Hawaii.
Toes-in-the-sand dining is always on offer at this Dorado Beach restaurant, but the best time to visit is just before sundown. Grab a seat facing the sea to sip on tropical cocktails and watch the sun dip below the horizon.
Vintage-inspired design details add to the air of casual elegance at this Asian-inspired spot. An intricately carved ceiling lets the sunlight shine through, while canvas fans help the subtle sea breezes flow through the space.
While sushi is certainly the star of the menu, cooked seafood specialties are equally as enticing. Opt for Indonesian-style sambal udang (spicy prawns), wok-fried Caribbean lobster with pickled chilies or Singaporean shrimp curry ramen.
