- In an almost-hidden location on the bottom floor of the hotel, the spa greets you with a bubbling fountain that evokes antebellum Southern charm.
- The New Orleans spa has 25,000 square feet of space, which could feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t thanks to a smart design and an expert layout.
- The boutique at this spa is stocked with thoughtfully curated products from good-for-you facial brands such as SkinCeuticals, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, Eminence and French favorite, Cinq Mondes.
- With a nod to New Orleans, the NOLA spa borrows from local practices with services such as the Voodoo Massage — it uses notes of absinthe and bourbon, along with cypress, moss, vetiver and incense to intoxicate and relax.
- The pre- and post-treatment experience is a luxurious one, too, and can be spent lazing around the posh relaxation rooms, where daybeds are draped in rich fabrics and healthy snacks are accompanied by complimentary champagne, wine and mimosas.

The Treatments
- The Café au Lait Detox Slimming Wrap exfoliates with antioxidant-rich coffee scrub and essential oils to hydrate the skin, which is followed by a scalp massage and body mask.
- The Satsuma Sugar Scrub Under the Rain body treatment uses the fragrance of the native citrus fruit and is performed under a rain shower to gently exfoliate and soften the skin.
- The Enveloping Balinese Ritual borrows ancestral massage and tropical nuts from Bali, while the Tonifying Indian Ayurvedic Ritual uses vanilla and cardamom fragrances with hot oil to induce sound sleep and extra-silky skin.
- There’s more on the menu, too: a slew of different massages, body treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures, plus traditional beautifying salon treatments like waxing and hairstyling.
The Facilities
- The entrance houses a retail shop and café, where spa lunches are served and hushed bridal parties can often be found.
- There’s a state-of-the-art fitness center, weight room and spin center to help you work up a sweat, while a hot tub and a lovely indoor resistance pool offer extra relaxation.
