Zen, chic and sophisticated, The Spa by Equinox Hotels is a next-level, state-of-the-art luxury spa within New York City’s Hudson Yards complex. Integral to Equinox Hotel New York's ethos as a luxurious fitness hotel, the spa provides a sanctuary for recovery and relaxation while employing innovative, cutting-edge, science-based technologies.
Designed by Joyce Wang Studio (which did the renovations for Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park, London and The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong), the 27,000-square-foot space boasts six treatment rooms, a heated indoor pool, hot and cold plunge pools, and amenities such as Frette robes and Dyson hair dryers. Services include customized versions of traditional body and facial services alongside high-tech offerings such as cryotherapy, an infrared sauna and quantum harmonics.
- Many of the services emphasize personal recovery. Try a meditation session, an IV drip or a technology-driven service such as cryotherapy.
- Hotel guests gain access to the rooftop pool deck, which features two barrel saunas, a heated outdoor pool, by-reservation private cabanas equipped with mini refrigerators, lounge chairs (open to everyone) and expansive views of Hudson Yards and the Vessel.
- For the full spa experience, spend at least half a day or a full day immersed in the treatments and amenities, like the indoor saltwater pool, hot and cold plunge pools — all of which are for hotel guests only — and private relaxation platforms dubbed E.scape Pods, which overlook Hudson Yards.
- Plan to dine at the spa. It offers a superfood menu that features bowls, salads, sandwiches and a plethora of superfood beverages such as the Rasasvada Cocktail, enhanced with 45 rare and globally sourced whole plant ingredients.
- Bring your gym clothes: Hotel guests gain club access to Equinox’s 60,000-square-foot fitness facility (the largest in the brand’s portfolio).
- Designed by Equinox's Health Advisory Board, the treatments are grouped in five circuits — Beauty, Performance Healing, Temperature Therapy, Inner Body and Sleep — and incorporate science-based technologically advanced modalities such as cryotherapy, an infrared sauna and quantum harmonics alongside traditional body and face work.
- The Gold Collagen Facial by renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Lara Devgan combines steam, deep tissue lymphatic massage, microdermabrasion exfoliation and powerhouse topicals such as niacinamide, resveratrol and peptides. A Gold Collagen mask provides anti-aging tissue support.
- The custom-designed Anti-Aging Package features a multi-circuit experience that includes a Gold Collagen Facial, a massage, a choice of cryotherapy or infrared sauna, an anti-aging supplement, as well as a superfood cocktail
- Try the NutriDrip IV-drip therapy. Each drip is created to address a specific need or function, and can enhance performance, address sleep issues, boost immunity and more.
