An important part of the property since the hotel opened in 2020, Spa by JW is a true haven for tranquility within an otherwise amenity-clad broader property that boasts rock climbing, lawn games and two vast pools.
Nestled adjacent to the resort’s Technogym-fitness center on the third floor, the spa allows you to get a hearty wellness dose in one refreshing visit. Treatments are grouped under four categories to help you with a certain goal: Balance, Nourish, Renew and Calm.
After a slice of relaxation at this 10,000-square-foot oasis, odds are you’ll want to bottle some of the tranquility for later. It’s a great thing then that, on the second level right off the lobby, you’ll find The Spa by JW Boutique, where you can take home products incorporated in treatments from the likes of MoroccanOil, Knesko, Jane Iredale Makeup and Coola Suncare.
- As you’d expect, the aesthetic within the spa is sanctuary calm, with soft tan walls, hardwood floors and green-hued furniture throughout. Lanterns on the floor light the way to the treatment rooms.
- There are 10 treatment rooms and express pods. Among its popular express options is a 25-minute tension-release chair massage, where you sit on a piece of furniture designed to help ease any shoulder, back and neck issues.
- Massage offerings generally include a relaxation or wellness component, like cupping, sound therapy or aromatherapy. For moms-to-be, there is also a pregnancy massage available for 50, 80 or 100 minutes.
- Spa by JW offers a handful of facial packages, nail services, hair and makeup and professional services for big events such as weddings.
- There is a hydro-thermal circuit, including ice for body scrubs, an experiential shower with aromatherapy, a sauna and a steam room. To maximize the experience, ask a member of the spa staff for the best sequence of events.
- The Orlando spa is open every day. Day passes are available for resort guests and non-guests, granting them access to the sauna, steam room, experiential showers and coed lounge. Day pass guests may also use the resort’s fitness center.
- Kids can get in on the pampering action. For those ages 10 and under, there are special manicure, pedicure and haircut packages.
- Keep an eye on the seasonal specials menu. Don’t be surprised to see chocolate berry velvet body wraps for couples around Valentine’s Day and, as the days start warming up, a Spring Blossom Body Glow utilizing exotic blossoms sourced from Fiji may appear.
