The 14,000-square-foot spa resides in Mirbeau Inn, next to a picturesque koi pond and verdant gardens, which lend the property a serenity that makes the stresses of everyday life melt away. Mirbeau is meant to evoke the feeling of French impressionist painters like Monet, which based on the gardens and pond surrounding the inn and spa, it does just that.
Inside this luxurious haven, get a massage, facial, nail services or just enjoy the many amenities. The changing rooms feature a dry sauna, an herbal-infused steam room and large walk-in showers. Each of the 18 treatment rooms is extra cozy with fireplaces, radiant heat flooring and a private sound system. Relax further on the Aqua Terrace with a glass of wine, craft beer or tea or with a dip in the warm, inviting waters of the alfresco whirlpool.
- Outside next to the Aqua Terrace there's a shared whirlpool that looks cut from rock. It gives you the sense of bathing in a crystalline river — but these waters come with massaging jets. A gentle waterfall on the side completes the feeling that you're nature bathing.
- There are two Vichy shower treatments, each featuring eight adjustable shower jets that caress your body like a controlled waterfall. The idea is to increase circulation and help the muscles relax, and the French Country Vichy treatment includes a massage and probiotic lotion.
- The circular resting room has a heated foot pool surrounded by natural stone and a roaring fireplace, perfect for lulling you into a post-treatment nap.
- Book a manicure and/or pedicure while visiting the spa. The leather massage chairs in the nail salon are heated, and each features a stained-glass foot bath.
- Facials are one of the specialties of the Skaneateles spa. Since you’re in New York’s wine country, try the Premier Cru Facial, an anti-aging service using Caudalie’s vineyard-inspired products.
- The sanctuary offers medspa services like Botox and micro-needling. All medspa appointments must be booked through a consultant to ensure you get the best treatment for your needs.
- Spa guests receive access to complimentary exercise classes, including yoga, spin, tabata, Pilates and zumba. There's also a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with individual screens for each cardio machine.
