A celestial-inspired relaxation lounge provides a peaceful space to unwind between or after treatments, while eucalyptus steam rooms, an infrared sauna, a heated outdoor pool, and a cedar barrel sauna help ease tension and promote overall well-being.

After your treatments, the serene Ursa Lounge extends the wellness journey. Beneath a custom LED installation of Ursa Major (aka the Great Bear) — a constellation symbolizing strength and respect for nature — enjoy thoughtful touches, such as herbal teas and guided meditation via noise-cancelling headphones.
Regional botanicals play a central role throughout the spa experience. Ingredients such as wild rose, arnica and lichen draw inspiration from the area’s natural landscapes as well as Indigenous wellness traditions.
The relaxing eucalyptus steam rooms and an outdoor cedar sauna complement the treatment menu, helping guests unwind and ease muscle tension before or after therapies. And for those looking to prepare for Whistler’s hiking trails and ski slopes, the fitness center features state-of-the-art Onyx Collection by Matrix Fitness equipment, Peloton bikes and a rotating schedule of daily fitness classes.
Ranging from 80 minutes to four hours, the luxury spa’s holistic Signature Journeys combine multiple therapies into immersive wellness experiences designed to restore balance, encourage relaxation and promote overall well-being.

The Treatments

One of the Signature Journeys, the Restore the Rhythm ritual is designed to reset the body and mind after your mountain adventures. Across 120 blissful minutes, you’ll enjoy a full-body massage, scalp massage and relaxing mask, followed by a foot therapy using peppermint salve. After the treatment, settle into the Ursa Lounge for a cup of warm tea and a guided meditation.
Drawing inspiration from both the land and sky, the indulgent Ursa Major Signature Experience combines a mix of treatments. It begins with a Moor mud salt scrub to buff away dry skin, followed by a mineral-rich wrap and a deeply relaxing hair and scalp treatment. Finally, a full-body massage leaves your skin feeling refreshed and muscles relaxed.
The 70-minute Mountain Wisdom Exfoliation experience uses small-batch products from Sḵwálwen Botanicals, an Indigenous-owned botanical skincare brand based in British Columbia, to elevate this restorative body ritual. An exfoliating scrub made of wild rose, clay, sugar and shea butter does wonders to smooth and soften the skin, while a full-body application of “rainforest oil” ensures head-to-toe relaxation.
Inspired by the region’s immense raw beauty, the Rite of Balance treatment focuses on post-activity recovery through targeted sports massage techniques and arnica-based therapies designed to ease muscle tension and promote relaxation. After the treatment, you’ll get to borrow a Hyperice in-room recovery kit — complete with a massage gun, back wrap and compression boots — for continued relief.
