JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong

An eco-friendly urban oasis
VERIFIED LUXURY

JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong sits in the heart of Admiralty, Hong Kong’s commercial hub. With direct access to four MTR lines — the East Rail, the Tsuen Wan, the Island and the South Island — and easy connections from Shenzhen through the Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau stations, reaching the hotel is a breeze.

Its strategic location makes the hotel a haven for business and leisure travelers. Established in 1989, it’s close to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and iconic landmarks, such as the Peak, Statue Square, Tai Kwun and PMQ.

But once you arrive at the property, which has three entrances — one straight from the MTR station — you don’t need to go far. Located in Pacific Place, the shopping and entertainment complex, the JW puts you steps away from a medley of restaurants and shops.

The hotel also offers its own range of dining options, including the renowned Man Ho Chinese Restaurant. Or choose from the satisfying bites at JW Café, the sumptuous seafood dishes at Fish Bar, refreshing drinks at the Pool Lounge, steaks at Flintor the creative cocktails at Bar Q88.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • The large windows lining the 35-story building provide breathtaking vistas of the city, the mountain and Victoria Harbour. Enjoy the views with a Nespresso coffee or TWG tea, both available in your neutral-hued room.
  • Upgrade to accommodations that come with Executive Lounge access. You can go to the spacious dedicated lounge for a continental breakfast, afternoon tea and nightly hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
  • Find an oasis in the city on the seventh floor of the luxury hotel, where a heated outdoor pool is surrounded by greenery.
  • Perched by the lush pool, Fish Bar offers daily fresh catches and other creative seafood. Order the lobster fish bone fettuccine, which sticks to the eco-friendly hotel’s no-waste policy by using ground fish bone to make the pasta, or the oasis giant grouper and chips, which features locally sourced fish.
  • Visit Man Ho Chinese Restaurant for an exceptional taste of Cantonese cuisine. This culinary gem offers traditional dishes with modern twists. Signature items include double-boiled abalone soup with preserved citrus and jewel orchids, as well as deep-fried fish maw stuffed with shrimp mousse, served in a rich chicken and rice stock with caviar. The meal is matched by the elegant decor, inspired by the seasons with camellia and maple leaves, and the stunning chandeliers made from 6,638 morning glory-shaped glass pieces.

The Restaurants

  • Morning to evening, JW Café’s buffets display a variety of premium seafood, such as braised abalone and fish maw, and nigiri. If you’re visiting Hong Kong during the weekend, don’t miss its afternoon tea buffet that features piping-hot noodles, handmade dim sum and tempting desserts.
  • Looking for a quick bite or a space to catch up with friends? The Lobby Lounge provides a breathtaking ceiling-to-floor view, a selection of chocolates that appear like jewels, and a buffet spotlighting dishes such as sushi, teppanyaki and salad.
  • The lobby-level Bar Q88 curates an extensive beverage menu that includes spirits, liqueurs, champagnes and local craft beers, alongside cocktails like the Haam Ning Chat, crafted with Hong Kong-made N.I.P. Rare Dry Gin. The bar’s interactive tangram-themed menu categorizes 15 drinks into options like creamy, slushy, bubbles and sweet and sour, making it easy to find your desired flavors. Once you find your drink, enjoy live performances in the evenings. If you fancy a quick coffee, cakes and sandwiches, opt for Dolce 88 in the lobby.
  • Flint is the spot to savor sizzling cuts. The open kitchen cooks up hearty steaks and other grilled dishes alongside fine wines handpicked by the Hong Kong hotel’s sommelier.
  • The Pool Lounge uses herbs from the onsite garden for its dishes and drinks. If you’re ready for sundowners, try a glass of Château de Lugey Blanc des Cabanes, aged for six months underwater in the beautiful Bassin d’Arcachon on the French Atlantic coast. For a non-alcoholic drink, try the sustainable lemonade, which uses the whole lemon, including the peel, to reduce food waste.
