Dip into a pool as blue as the Mediterranean Sea that rolls just outside the door of BLESS Hotel Ibiza. After all, the Es Canar resort is all about immersing oneself in beauty and luxury, from those aforementioned pools — including a stunning adults-only rooftop spot with daybeds — to the indoor-outdoor spa to one of the finest restaurants in the country.
There are just more than 150 rooms on property, including six suites with seaside views, and one very large and refined presidential suite. All accommodations have a balcony and some of those rooms come complete with a hydromassage tub for a truly luxurious bathing experience.
When not taking in the natural wonders of the Spanish coast, dine on contemporary Basque cuisine, Mediterranean food and fresh fish. There are five restaurants to choose from, each with its own special menu and style.
- The room design is influenced by Coco Chanel and features bold black lines across crisp white linens, headboards and the ivory-colored walls, with touch of baby pink on select furniture pieces. The space has a bit of a Mediterranean coastal vibe, but with the refinement of a high-end French establishment.
- Make a reservation for Etxeko by Martín Berasategui. Not only is this spot the toast of Ibiza dining, but Berasategui is a celebrated chef. The menu pays homage to the chef's Basque roots, and you can choose from the short or long tasting menu, which range from seven to nine courses, plus surprises along the way.
- When in Ibiza don't skip the Turkish sauna or hamman at the Magness Soulful Spa. There are six treatment rooms and an outdoor cabana on property where you can relax and beautify with a facial, hot stone massage, algae wrap or salt scrub.
- No room is identical. All 151 spaces have their own unique touch, be that a special lounging couch, hydromassage tub or shower, outside hammock and artistic highlights. What the rooms do share is the same memory foam mattresses topped with 400-thread-count sheets and dual sinks in the bathroom.
- Take advantage of the Cala Nova hotel's professional bath concierge, dubbed the bathologists. These soap butlers advise which of the bath accoutrements will best suit your skin type, be that a sensual, an energizing, a relaxing or an exfoliant soak. Once chosen, the experience comes with aromatherapy, candles and artisanal soaps.
- Dogs are allowed in the rooms as long as they are 22 pounds or under. The amenities for pets include water and food dishes, a bed and dog walking services.
- Have a casual bite at Salao Atlantic Restaurant. Here, many of ingredients are locally sourced from the island of Ibiza. The menu is a mixture of well-known items, including chicken Caesar salad, lobster rolls, veggie burgers and sushi rolls; and more traditional Spanish dishes such as jamon Ibérico, fried potatoes layered with octopus, and black rice with calamari and cuttlefish.
- Choose from the pristine beach right in front of the property or one of the many shallow freshwater pools within BLESS Hotel's boundaries. The pool area has full service and plenty of places to lounge, take in the view and enjoy the calm this corner of Ibiza has to offer.
