Park Hyatt Marrakech

A design-forward escape outside Marrakech
VERIFIED LUXURY
Opened in July 2024 in the sun-drenched foothills of the Atlas Mountains, Park Hyatt Marrakech feels more like a private estate than a hotel. You arrive through a grove of olive trees with the ochre-toned buildings rising from the landscape like something carved, not constructed. Inside, the luxury hotel is a study in refined Moroccan craftsmanship where zellige tilework, hand-carved plaster and bronze lanterns cast dappled shadows across serene, open-air courtyards.

Many of the 130 spacious and hushed accommodations open to a private terrace with views of snow-capped peaks or the hotel’s manicured gardens. The mood is warm minimalism with local materials, modern lines and a subtle sense of luxury that never shouts.

Days here are spent floating in the trio of pools, teeing off at the adjacent Al Maaden Golf Course or lingering over mezze and mint tea at one of the hotel’s three dining outlets. The spa is another standout amenity, blending Moroccan ritual with contemporary wellness.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Le Spa Park Hyatt Marrakech spans more than 23,000 square feet, offering treatments that blend Moroccan traditions with modern wellness practices. Indulge in therapies using products from Sodashi and Nectarome, all while enjoying views of the Atlas Mountains and the adjacent golf course.
  • TFAYA, Park Hyatt Marrakech’s Arabesque brasserie, showcases innovative dishes crafted by local chef Issam Rhachi. Signature offerings like seafood pastilla with fried capers highlight a fusion of traditional flavors with contemporary techniques.
  • The luxury hotel features more than 700 curated artworks from creatives across Morocco, Senegal, Benin, Spain, France, Italy and Japan. Notably, the lobby boasts a 600-piece ceramic installation by Casablanca-based artist Mounat Charrat and two abstract paintings by Italian artist Gianni Lucchesi that gorgeously offset the rustic earth-toned walls.
  • If you need a respite from the desert heat, the Marrakech resort’s got you covered. The property boasts multiple swimming pools, including an adults-only outdoor one, a family-friendly Oasis option and an indoor spa pool beneath a vaulted ceiling.
  • Those seeking sight-seeing opportunities packed with adventure should look no further than the hotel concierges. They’ll help you book a hot air balloon ride through the mountains, a quad bike excursion across the Agafay Desert or a sidecar tour of the medina.

The Rooms

  • The design of each room and suite seamlessly blends contemporary luxury with Moroccan heritage. Traditionally woven Berber carpets and Tataoui motif headboards artfully reflect local craftsmanship.
  • Bathrooms are spacious, featuring double vanities and Aquamoon rain showers overlooking private patios. Each is outfitted with Le Labo Bergamote 22 products, adding a touch of indulgence to the bathing experience.
  • Each room includes a complimentary minibar stocked with non-alcoholic beverages and snacks that are replenished daily. Nespresso machines and Tchaba tea selections are also on hand for any pick-me-ups throughout the day.
  • For those seeking elevated luxury, 69 suites offer additional amenities such as walk-in closets, separate living areas and, in some cases, en suite hammams. The standout Three-Bedroom Duplex Suite includes a fitness room, hairdressing station, a private pool and full kitchen that’s ideal for multi-generation travel.
