Explora Journey's fleet of private yacht-inspired cruise ships expands with EXPLORA II. This new vessel and its sister ship, EXPLORA I, share several key features that have come to define the fleet: all-suite accommodations with private balconies, a unique decor style that resembles a European boutique hotel rather than a traditional cruise ship and refined dining options.
Observant EXPLORA I passengers may notice some adjustments on this second liner, such as subtly redesigned spaces and suede chairs in lieu of leather. As the rest of the fleet sets sail — EXPLORA III is slated to debut in 2026 — passengers can expect even more refinement as Explora Journey continues redefining luxury cruising.

- EXPLORA II is a wellness sanctuary at sea. The spa features ocean-inspired treatments and amenities such as a Himalayan salt cave, a Finnish sauna and an aromatic steam room. Additionally, there are well-being programs focused on sleep, immunity and mindfulness. State-of-the-art indoor and outdoor fitness facilities have been created in partnership with Technogym.
- Passengers have their pick of five onboard pools, including the adults-only Helios Pool, inspired by Ancient Greece, which offers a coveted, forward-facing panoramic sea view.
- EXPLORA II’s interior design enhances a private yacht-like feel with ample use of light wood, a muted color palette, low-profile outdoor furniture featuring sleek, European-inspired lines and a gallery-worthy collection of artwork.
- Eighty-two connecting suites make family cruising a possibility. The Nautilus Club, designed to cater to guests ages six to 17, as well as several onboard and curated shore experiences prove how much younger travelers are considered by the brand.
- Each room is equipped with high-end amenities, including a welcome bottle of Mercier brut champagne, Frette linens, Dyson hair dryers and heated bathroom floors.

- The onboard restaurants skew European, with Anthology serving refined Italian fare, the explicitly European-style steakhouse, Marble & Co. Grill, and Fil Rouge’s French-inspired international cuisine leading the epicurean charge.
- EXPLORA II’s accommodation inventory includes 461 oceanfront suites, including nearly 400 Terrace Suites at 377 square feet, making them some of the largest introductory-level suites at sea. You’ll also find 67 Ocean Penthouses, 22 Ocean Residences and a single Owner’s Residence.
- Shopaholics and watch aficionados will be delighted by the onboard luxury boutiques. You’ll find Buccellati jewelry outlet along with shops for Cartier, Panerai and Piaget.
- The all-inclusive amenities feature premium wines and spirits, fitness programs, nine dining options and access to the spa.
