Opened in 2024, The Sukhothai Spa draws inspiration from the ancient kingdom of Sukhothai, meaning the “dawn of happiness.” Lotus motifs, reflective water features, natural materials and winding garden pathways echo the elegant serenity of the province’s historic temples.

The spa experience is every bit as impressive as the setting. The menu spans traditionalThai healing rituals, results-driven face and body therapies, botanical-led holistic treatments and even authentic Turkish hammam experiences — all complemented by a modern fitness center and 25-meter infinity pool.

Inspired by the mondop, a square-shaped sanctuary, housing the giant Buddha at Wat Si Chum in Sukhothai, the Bangkok spa reinterprets its monumental structure with oversized doorways, geometric motifs and water-filled courtyards echoing the moats that once encircled the kingdom.
Treatment rooms are wrapped in soothing sage green walls, offset by rich dark wood doors and bronze accents.Geometric relief paneling nods to the architecture of ancient Sukhothai in a way that feels clean and contemporary, while vaulted ceilings and recessed lighting re-create the spiritual atmosphere of a Thai temple.
Notice the lotus: The seven-petal motif, adapted from historic Sukhothai pottery, is woven throughout the spa, from floor patterns to architectural details. It’s more than a decoration, with the number seven representing wholeness, harmony and enlightenment in Buddhist culture.
One of the spa's loveliest features is its waterside seating, where comfortable cushioned spots sit right beside the reflecting pools. It's a welcome opportunity to sit in silence post-treatment, listen to the gentle sound of the water and let your relaxation sink in before easing back into the fast-paced rhythm of Bangkok.
For a special occasion, or just a little added privacy, book the spa’s Presidential Suite. More like a Thai residence than a standalone room, it features a separate entrance foyer and a dedicated treatment room with a double massage bed, alongside a private Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

The luxury spa partners with an impressive roster of skincare brands, selecting the best formulas for each treatment rather than relying on a single product line. Expect French cult favorite Biologique Recherche for its results-driven facials, alongside Thailand's Moringa Project for superfood-powered organic body rituals, Charme d'Orient's luxurious hammam products and Kerstin Florian's wellness-focused face and body care.
The Royal Remedies collection of treatments is the signature, with exclusive rituals inspired by Thailand's healing traditions. Don't miss the Spirit of Sukhothai Thai Massage Signature, which combines Tibetan sound healing, therapeutic bodywork, acupressure, assisted stretches and a warm herbal compress before ending with the gentle ring of Tibetan cymbals.
If your skin could use a reset, book the Gua Sha Lifting Facial. This 90-minute treatment pairs the ancient Chinese massage technique with protein-rich caviar and botanical actives to sculpt, depuff and brighten the complexion. Jade gua sha tools encourage lymphatic drainage and ease facial tension, leaving the face, neck and décolleté looking noticeably firmer.
There are two hammam rituals to choose from, each rooted in a different bathing tradition. The Moroccan-inspired treatment centers on steam, black soap, vigorous exfoliation and a mineral-rich rhassoul clay wrap, followed by a hydrating facial. Whereas the Turkish Bath Ceremony swaps the clay for clouds of foam and a soothing massage for a deeply relaxing experience.
The treatment menu also features a dedicated Baths section, using Kerstin Florian's aromatherapy bath products to transform an ordinary soak into a luxurious ritual.
