Spanning across three floors of The Maybourne Riviera, which is suspended over the Mediterranean Sea on the rocky Roquebrune-Cap-Martin peninsula, Surrenne Riviera capitalizes on its prime perch with sunlight-drenched studios opening to terraces overlooking the water. Swathed in shades of blue and warm woods with textures from travertine and moleanos limestone, the spa’s design nods to the surrounding Côte d’Azur.

Two of the four studio spaces — the Waves Studio and Riviera Reflections — open up to terraces and offer group classes like Pilates, spinning, yoga and TRX in collaboration with Lagree Fitness. The Surrenne Gym is also outfitted with the latest Technogym equipment, while the Performance Studio is dedicated to one-on-one training sessions.
One of the French Riviera spa’s signature treatments, I Need it All, is a tailormade blend of deep tissue, Thai, Ayurveda and shiatsu massage techniques designed to target specific pains and aches.
Facials, which are done in partnership with lauded French brand Biologique Recherche, are personalized and include a signature lymphatic drainage treatment with cryo-active wraps intended to boost detoxification and stimulate circulation.

Things to Know

Both couples massages and mother-daughter, side-by-side treatments are available. The former is designed to balance the body’s energy points, starting with a warm adaptogenic oil poured on the third eye chakra followed by a scalp and full-body massage.
Solo or duo yoga and Pilates classes, as well as personal training sessions, can be booked outdoors, indoors or in the privacy of your room. The individualized coaching experience includes an assessment for physical and cognitive conditions, plus a recovery session complete with pressotherapy, pulse therapy, infrared or stretching.
