On Sheybarah Island, The Spa, Shebara draws its design from the surrounding desert landscape and its treatments from the Red Sea. The low-slung structure begins with a raw stone exterior that blends into the island's rocky terrain before opening into a minimalist space centered on a 2,700-year-old olive tree. A skylight above the tree brings natural light into the entrance, while stone, wood and neutral tones continue throughout the sanctuary.

The treatment menu carries the property's connection to the sea indoors, incorporating ingredients such as pearl, green caviar and seaweed into massages, facials and hammam rituals. Outside, treatment cabanas overlook the landscape, while a vitality pool and separate relaxation areas offer places to linger before or after appointments.

Our Inspector's Highlights

Outdoor treatment cabanas put guests directly in the landscape. The Spa, Shebara uses the beachside spaces for massages and meditation sessions, adding an open-air option to the indoor treatment rooms.
Free-form arches shape the spa's interiors, from the entrance arcade to the treatment spaces, where carved natural stone, plasterwork and organic shapes create a softer contrast to Shebara's futuristic exterior. The pool terrace continues the look with cast-concrete seating and planters.
The outdoor vitality pool is another place to linger between treatments. A separate Jacuzzi pool, experience showers and ice-chip stations provide an indoor option, alongside relaxation lounges.
A dedicated yoga pavilion offers both traditional and aerial yoga, while the 24-hour fitness center is equipped with Technogym equipment and provides personal training during the day.
A manicure-pedicure studio and barber salon round out the services at the Red Sea spa.

The Treatments

The Shebara Signature Journey runs for two hours, beginning with a pearl-infused cleanse and caviar exfoliation before moving to a bespoke oil containing pearl and green caviar. A sculpting body cream finishes the treatment on a soothing note.
The Pearl & Green Caviar Signature Hammam puts a Red Sea spin on a traditional ritual. The 75-minute treatment combines steam, a full-body kessa exfoliation and rhassoul clay before finishing with Tahitian black pearl body cream.
The Moonlight Meteorite Massage takes its cue from outer space. The 60-minute treatment employs AMRA's signature oil infused with meteorite extract and pairs it with massage techniques intended to support circulation and lymphatic drainage.
The luxury spa uses British skincare brand AMRA and Swiss brand Dr. Burgener across its treatment menu, pairing the unusual marine ingredients with more conventional advanced skincare formulations.
The 90-minute Luxury Green Caviar & Gold Rejuvenation Facial combines green caviar, gold trace elements and ultrasound technology to deliver Dr. Burgener's active ingredients deeper into the skin.
